Desi or Videsi, Chris Martin teaches you how it’s done.

Wed. 6th Nov. Sydney.

300,000 tickets are sold. 300,000 fans will descend on the Accor Stadium in Sydney over the next 4 days for 4 shows by the Gods of Music. The transport authority, law and order, some of the most efficient systems in the government control have all hands on deck for the enormous Cold Play concert taking place starting today. Cold Play fans have been urged by all social media handles of the authorities requesting them to use public transport. Transport for NSW coordinator General Howard Collins in a statement said “Sydneys transport network is ready to play its role to ensure fans have a stress free travel, additional busses and trains will be added to ensure smooth entry and exit to the Accor Stadium”. Mr. Colling further added “ we went to work the day the tickets were announced a year ago and have planned this through, we’ve done the work so you can leave your car at home”.

Cold Play in Sydney. When, Where, How to Get there.

The Music of the Spheres World Tour by Chris Martin and the Band will be held at the Accor Stadium on November 6. They will also perform on Thursday, November 7, Saturday, November 9, and Sunday, November 10. The Sydney Olympic Car Park of about 10,000 spaces will have been booked in advance and I have often found exiting a mega concert like this really hard at the end when everyone is scrambling out at the same time. Please note that your cost of train / bus travel is included in your concert ticket, simply show it to board. The train station is a 10 - 12 min walk from the stadium. Hundreds of trains and busses are added specifically for servicing the concert and you will see the good people from the traffic controllers team at all junctions helping with queues and managing traffic.

Please do not travel with the following items or be prepared to discard them outside the venue.

Professional cameras, alcohol, glass bottles, or bicycles. Smoking and Vaping is not allowed unless designated areas are marked. Important that you know what to carry or not, I have seen people bother security teams with “can I take my protein shake in this bottle inside”. No Ma’am you cannot. But to be safe, please do check detailed info here. https://accorstadium.com.au/the-stadium/conditions-of-entry/

Are tickets available? Short answer No. They went up a year in advance and what was supposed to be a 2 show tour now has more shows added but you’re in fine luck if you get any.  As a caution The Chaos Drop always requests fans to never purchase tickets from unknown entities and only obtain tickets from official means. You do not want to purchase a counterfeit by mistake only to not be let in to the stadium because the scanners cannot read it. Simple rule, ticket buying only through official mediums. However there is a waitlist as always and you can sign up here https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/coldplay-tickets/artist/806431?irgwc=1&utm_source=10078-Skimbit%20Ltd.&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=10078&ircid=7566&clickId=ya%3A3H-1TAxyKRwDS-XwA41WYUkCT29Wt8xWpQU0

Who’s opening the show and timings. ?

When you are Cold Play, you do not have one or two opening acts do you? Nope, You have three amazing opening acts. Look forward to Shone, Emmanuel Kelly and Ayra Star. This has been reported by Time Out Sydney and we are taking their good word for it.

Super Important Info: - Gates open at 5pm, while the music will kick off at 6pm, with Shone as the opening act. That'll be followed by Emmanuel Kelly at 6.30pm and Ayra Starr at 7.15pm. Coldplay are set to take to the stage at 8.30pm.

What to wear? What to expect?

Tourists, our spring summers are notorious, you are looking at a high of 29 degrees today settling down to 25 degrees over the other concert days. It does tend to shift from sunny to cloudy with a wind very often but we recommend a casual spec. If you are going to a Cold Play concert for the first time, you will tell your grand kids about it. The visual spectacle is like none other, Chris likes to make the audience part of the story, the setlist will change the mood of the entire stadium with every track played, the LED wristbands you will receive will have their own mind, the stage set, pyrotechniques and the chorus of thousands of people will etch this show in your memory.

Thank You Cold Play for always making Australia a part of your family. We love you and hope the fall on stage in Melbourne did not hurt you much. The Chaos Drop along with its family of Australian and Kiwi desi fans wish the band an amazing tour in Sydney and look forward to catching them backstage this weekend.
